Looking forward to many more adventures. 🙂
Thank you Lisa. I look forward to seeing you up there one of these years! Third times a charm, right?
Hopefully you’ll get another opportunity in the not too distant future.
Thank you Ann. I plan to figure something out. Maybe there will be some smaller hikes in the meantime. Fair winds
Rob – I was surprised to see a “brontidepeak” popup this morning with your announcement canceling this year’s journey. Even though I knew this, it saddened me. Next year is a long time to wait before hitting the trail again. Plus life’s events can happen – what ever they are. One thing I have noticed about your character is perseverance. So I am patiently waiting for my next “brontidepeak” popup.
Until then,
Mac and Sharon
Thank you Mac and Sharron. Perseverance may be the watchword of the year. Fair winds
Hi Rob,
Say it isn’t so! Gerald and I will miss you and “Top Rock”
immensely. We look forward to the day when you can
get back on the trail, hopefully sooner than later.

I’ve got my fingers crossed in hopes of being able to do something interesting before 2020 comes to an end. I may have to “adjust my expectations” accordingly to classify it as “interesting”.

Hey, social distancing in nature sounds pretty good !!
Yes! It sounds great to me. Now, if I’d only paid close attention in those “live off the land” courses that I never took. My expertise is only up to Euell Gibbons‘s “Ever eat a pine cone? Many parts of it are edible.” I’m pretty certain that I would not last long in the woods before starving. Maybe a week. But you likely would not want to be hiking with me when the “hangry” hits! :-).

Thanks for the update Rob, and I am not surprised you had to postpone. I had to cancel my vacation that would be taking place right now. Sigh.
Hi Rob,
Sigh is right. I’m usually a big fan of “shared experiences” with friends. This shared experience of cancelled trips is one that I’m sorry we are sharing together. Onward to a brighter future.
