PCT 2018 California Section H – Mammoth to Tuolumne Meadows

Dateline: Lee Vining, CA (20180908)

Section H is finished!  The Pacific Crest Trail, California Section H runs from Crabtree Meadows near Mount Whitney to Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park.  It’s a 175.5 miles of trail the winds through some of the very best of the Sierra Nevada mountains.  Four vlogs cover Section H, this being that last of those videos.

    1. There were many more that I did not include in the video. The early morning that I walked down the San Joaquin River, north west of Evolution Valley, I saw at least a dozen deer within 30 feet of the trail. It was well before sunrise, very quiet, and very beautiful. Fair winds

  1. Hi Rob,
We’re looking forward to your next adventure. It’s like sitting
on your shoulder along with your journey. Gerald says he will
teach you how to call deer with a blade of grass or a dollar bill.

    1. Tell Gerald that I look forward to it. Does it work? (I know that dollar bills are successful at calling other types of animals, usually bipeds. Uber even has an app for that.)
