Hi Rob, It is so cool to be carrying less water. In fact, we could be hiking without carrying any water with the conditions we’re seeing the the Sierra this year. It’s a bit of a consolation for having to carry our food in a bear resistant canister. Those add a couple pounds to the pack, or replace about a liter of water. Fair winds, Rob
Wow, the water is just amazing. It must be nice not to half to carry much water in this part of the trail.
The deer zooming up the side of the mountain was also amazing.
